At least 4 killed in Rwanda building collapse

USPA News - At least four people were confirmed killed after a building under construction collapsed in eastern Rwanda, local authorities said Wednesday. The four-story building located in the district of Nyagatare in Rwanda`s Eastern Province was under construction when it collapsed on Tuesday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. local time.
Local police confirmed four deaths, while several others were injured, according to the New Time Rwanda. The identities of those killed was not immediately known, but most of the victims were construction workers, although at least one passerby was affected as well. Four among those injured were in critical condition and were airlifted to King Faisal Hospital in Kigali, the country`s capital. The others, including those killed, were taken to the Nyagatare Hospital. The reason of the accident was uncertain, but local authorities launched an investigation to determine the cause.
