USPA NEWS - François Hollande is convinced that Antonio Guterres will fully live up to these challenges. He is a man of commitment, belief and action that has made throughout his career, French President Hollande stated about Antonio Giterres just appointed General Secretary of United Nations.

"Our curent period is marked by crises, terrorism, climate emergency, humanitarian tragedies, the world needs more than ever that the United Nations be strong, effective and gathered around the objectives of peace, security, development and human rights that led to their creation. François Hollande is convinced that Antonio Guterres will fully live up to these challenges.
