The American Law Journal television program garnered four Emmy nominations for the second consecutive year, with episodes covering equal protection under the law, workplace rights and criminal justice. Three nominations were in the categories interview discussion specials/series and one in historic/cultural program feature segment.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Mid-Atlantic Region announced the nominations Tuesday, August 9 at simultaneous Emmy events. In 2015, The American Law Journal took home the Emmy® statuette for employment discrimination programming.

Covering consumer, business and Constitutional issues, lawyers, judges, elected officials, law school professors and members of the public are in feature reports or on the panel discussion.
