Following the Paris Agreement and the international recognition of the French initiative on carbon storage in soils initiative called "4 for 1000" for food security and climate Stephane Foll the proposed governance arrangements and organization in order to achieve the first concrete achievements very quickly.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The French Minister fo Agriculture, Stephane Le Foll, has proposed the creation of a joint secretariat France-Morocco that materialize in September the proposal to create a governance suited to the objectives of the initiative. The idea is to create a consortium that will be fully operational during the COP 22 to be held next November in Marrakech, under the Moroccan Presidency.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Many participants, foremost among them the Spanish Minister and several African Ministers of Agriculture were present, marking their commitment to make agriculture a solution in search of food security but also in adapting agriculture to climate change and generally mitigating the human impact on climate. Further the COP 21 meeting held at the International Agricultural Show in Meknes demonstrated the mobilisation of all stakeholders (countries, international organisations, NGOs, research organisations, professional organizations ...) . 174 states and the European Union signed in New York last week the Paris climate agreement and to date, the initiative "4 1000" driven by Stéphane Le Foll brings together more than 160 countries and organizations.
