KANOW, the leader in open-source information security analytics, announced on February 29, that Cyber Defense Magazine, the industry's leading electronic information security magazine and media partner of the RSA Conference 2016, has named IKANOW as the Leader in Enterprise Security Solutions in its annual Cyber Defense Magazine Awards program. The award was announced after many months of review by leading independent information security experts.
Cyber Defense Magazine noted IKANOW's unique ability to aggregate and correlate unlimited internal and external data sources from complex heterogeneous networks to identify breaches faster and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk. The panel further recognized that this type of real-time risk information helps enterprises better manage their corporate security posture, calling it a 'unique and refreshing approach.'
'Cyber Defense Magazine's recognition of IKANOW further validates the importance of lightning fast breach detection, breach contextualization and vulnerability prioritization in protecting the enterprise. We enable companies to take back control of their information security and cut across the silos of information created by traditional cybersecurity vendors,' said Dave Camarata, president and chief executive officer, IKANOW.
