SYNOPSIS :

Gilly Hopkins is the meanest girl in town: she has a birth mother she has never seen and has moved from one foster home to another. Learning that she will be sent to a new home, she wastes no time stirring up trouble. Then she meets a woman named Trotter, who wants to be the mother Gilly needs. With Gilly posing a challenge, Trotter must prove a good relationship will benefit both of them.
IN OUR OPINION, WHY YOU SHOULD SEE THE FILM :

Totally unmanageable, wisecracking, gum-chewing twelve-year-old Gilly is well known in the foster system. When Gilly is sent to live with the Trotters, she isn´t planning to stick around. The Great Gilly Hopkins is the hilarious and big-hearted story about a headstrong girl who wants to find a place to call home. The actors are wonderful and lovable !!! Great story for optimistic people who really believe in human kind.
