Pakistan judge survives suicide attack, at least 5 killed

USPA News - At leas five people were killed after a bomb attack on Wednesday targeted a judge in southern Pakistan, local media reported. A suicide car bomber on Wednesday morning rammed his vehicle into the vehicle of Sindh High Court judge, Maqbool Baqar on Burns Road in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh and Pakistan`s main financial center, Geo News reported.
Judge Maqbook Bagar had previously received death threats, but he survived the attack, only suffering from serious injuries. However, five others were killed, including two security personnel. The powerful blast injured several others, but the exact number was not immediately known. It also completely destroyed a police van and a motorcycle, while damaging a nearby building and mosque. Emergency teams rushed to the scene and transferred the injured to the Civil Hospital while securing the area for investigations.
